Come Relax in a Winter Escape Just 2 minutes from Rocky Mtn NP

Virtually a perfect place to stay . . . in a gorgeous location. Positive: The home was clean. It was better stocked than any I have visited . . . they seemed to have thought of everything. Negative: Someone left the refrigerator cranked down to the coldest setting, freezing in the refrigerator. I blame that on the previous tenant and not the host.

Positive: Super clean house with lovely small deck off the bedroom amid the aspens in an exclusive neighborhood just a quick drive from downtown, the grocery store, and, of course, the lake. Lovely light-filled dining room with large table, bench and chairs. Could use some directions for remotes and for shower. Furnishings and decor comfy but greatly dated. Astoundingly large moose collection- I had fun counting 29 moose decorations throughout the home. Maybe instead of being listed as “10 Minutes from RMNP Entrance”, the property could be called “Moose Manor” or “Moose Lodge” or some other catchy phrase referring to the moose collection :) Negative: Google maps knows where the road is, but it doesn't know where the house number is. Follow the house numbers till you find the right place.

Tolle Lodge in wunderbarer Lage Positive: Sehr urig und schön, total gemütlich, großer Bereich Wohnzimmer/Küche, 2 schöne Schlafzimmer und alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Schade, dass wir nur 1 Nacht hatten, aber wir sind auf der Durchreise. Negative: Leider war die Dusche defekt, man konnte den Wasserstrahl nicht auf den Duschkopf umstellen. Man musste stattdessen baden :-D

This property was exactly as described and perfect for our needs. The decor and comfortable furniture made it feel like Positive: The comfortable furniture, homey decor, washer and dryer, quiet location Negative: Could use some general maintenance (caulking in the shower, exterior appearance and yard work)

Positive: Quiet, well maintained. Not fancy but very comfortable. Negative: There are no shops etc within walking distance, and the nearby lake is private - no-one is going to tell you off for just being there but you're not actually allowed to 'use' it. So great place to use as a base but everything is a drive away.
